A about a month ago we went to take pictures of our town. I decided with my friend to go to old town and I don’t have a lot of pictures because there wasn’t enough time. So, our old town is worth of seeing. There are plenty of old houses, shops, coffee shops and restaurants.
Red shore houses are one of the most photographed scenery in Porvoo.
Porvoo Cathedral was built in the 1400’s
The cathedral is a popular tourist destination at Porvoo. In 2006 the cathedral roof was burned by arson completely and the repair lasted about 2 years.
Sikosaari
After a long day of school, me and my boyfriend we went to Sikosaari. Sikosaari is a big and old forest area close to the town. Sikosaari is a natural protected area and there are many trails and bird watching towers.
Sikosaari has been the city dwellers forest and pasture land
